Come to this place of solitude and rest. You will hear the Holy Spirit speak in this place. Lay down your burdens, for they are too heavy for you to carry. What needs to be done cannot be done on your strength, but will be the Lord God who gives you the strength to run and not grow weary.
Come let the Lord restore your dry and weary soul. Let the Lord replenish you as you wait and be still in His presence. Come away and be with the Lord. Put aside your plans and agendas and go be with the Father.
Busyness and distractions will keep you from sitting at the feet of Jesus.
Come to Him all who are heavily laden and burdened, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Learn from the rhythm and flow of Christ.
Cast all your cares upon Him, because He does care about you. Cast means to throw off those things that weigh you down and cause you much trouble. You are not to try and fix the problems in front of you, for if you do will live in a perpetual state of anxiety, worry, and uneasiness. Instead, pray about everything with thanksgiving, then God’s peace will guard your heart and mind.
When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will raise a standard against him. Just be still and come away to the secret place from all that would distract you. God has a word for you in this secret place.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shelter of the Almighty.
