Declutter your mind, there is too much in your mind that clogs your ability to hear the Holy Spirit. Clear out of your mind thoughts you are entertaining that are not good, lovely, peaceful, or a good report. You will start to get your joy back as well as your energy when you declutter your mind of what is weighing you down.

Put a filter over your thinking. Donโ€™t just allow your mind to think whatever it wants to.

You can change what you think about.

Journal, talk to God, or speak to a trusted person about what has been cluttering your mind. โ€œItโ€™s time to take the trash out.โ€ Your thoughts are polluting your spirit. If your thoughts do not align with Godโ€™s truth, reject those thoughts instead of entertaining them. Then intentionally begin to think about what is good, lovely, and praiseworthy.

Of course, you are not denying reality if you do this, but you are giving a time and a place to deal with troublesome thoughts. You are choosing to have a set time to deal with what you need to, and then turning towards faith-filled thoughts.

Donโ€™t  allow the default of your mind to be cluttered with โ€œgarbage.โ€ Instead choose to constantly renew your mind. This will take discipline, but you can do this!
