Word of Encouragement: The Battle Isn’t Yours

This battle has hit you out of nowhere, or so it seems. This battle has hit you on all fronts, hoping you will quit, stop, and give up. You have become a major threat to the enemies camp, and this is a retaliation attack. The battle isn’t yours. God is fighting for you. Remain in love. Remain in peace. Remain in forgiveness. As you remain in these, the Lord will fight this battle for you.

It appears this attack will never end. You feel it physically, mentally, and spiritually. Rest assured, as you resist the enemy, not only will he flee from you, but he will go out as quickly as he came in.

As you resist the enemy make sure that you don’t open your mouth and speak what you are feeling. Guard your tongue and your heart. Let no unrighteous anger or bitterness come from your heart or mouth. Get into your quiet place with the Lord so that the Holy Spirit can comfort and console you from these attacks. You have been wounded, and have felt the enemies “arrows” deeply. Come to the secret place, and allow the Father to mind these wounds. Let Him speak the truth about who you are.

The enemy is hoping to gain an entrance or a legal ground into your life to plant destruction. Don’t allow even a tiny place for the enemy. Close your lips to what your flesh is wanting to say. It’s bait from the enemy, so don’t take it. Remain in love. Remain in peace. Remain in forgiveness.

The Lord is contending with those that have contended with you. This is not your battle. Yes, sometimes we are called to engage in the war, but not this one. This battle belongs to the Lord.
