The Lord is pleased with you. He does not think of you they way that would condemn you, or make you feel bad about yourself. The Lord loves you! He knows your weaknesses and how sometimes you fall into sin, but He also sees your heart. He knows that you do not want to behave in ways that would be sinful.
The Lord is not harsh in His manner towards you. He gently corrects you, and disciplines always in love. He never points out your faults to cause you to feel bad about yourself. His love for you is unconditional. That is a type of love many do not know about. We don’t have to worry about the Father withdrawing His love when we mess up, yet again. He woo’s us back to His tender loving care so that we can heal, repent, confess, or just be ministered to. His desire is to always bring us back to a love relationship with Him.
Let this sink into your very being: The Lord Delights in You!
He is not mad at you, nor is He going to inflict some sort of punishment on you because you can’t seem to get it right. Some of us need a Divine revelation of the Father’s love for us. There is nothing that we can do to separate us from His love. He will pursue us even when we pull away, or when shame covers us from sin. Even in our sinful ways He reaches down to pull us up.
The Lord delights in You! Your flaws, your weaknesses, your personality, your mistakes, and even when you sin. He will call you back into a right relationship with Him based on love, not on wrath, anger, or disappointment. He wants to love on you! He wants you to know that you are special to Him. He wants you to know He is not disappointed in you.
There is nothing greater than knowing that you are loved just as you are. Sure, God will guide you to sanctification, but in the process He will love you every step of the way. His love is eternal, and not only does God want you to know His love He wants you to give this agape love to those you encounter.
Take some time this week, and ask the. Lord to show you His love for you, and to be able to tangibly feel the love of God. Some need to be set free from how your earthly father loved you. Sit with the Father, or go someplace where you can allow the Holy Spirit to minister His love. God is love. Everything He does is love. His love will change you. You will feel secure and confident in who you are in Christ. You will see yourself as valued, worthy, lovable, and redeemed.
