You have been confined in a cave and now you will break out of that prison that has held you captive. This cave has kept you from fully fulfilling your destiny, as well as living life to the fullest.
You are breaking out on all sides.
Like Jehu, you are breaking out on all sides. Jehu was the one who killed King Joram , King Ahaziah, Queen Jezebel, and remaining heirs and officials of Ahab. *see 2 Kings 9-10
You are breaking out quickly like Jehu.
Jehu killed Joram (King of Israel) and Azaziah (King of Judah) in one day! He directly targeted the leadership of both kingdoms.
Jehu also demanded the heads of 70 of Ahabโs sons in Samaria, wiping the entire lineage.
Jehu gathered all prophets and priests of Baal into their temple under false pretenses, killing them all and destroying the temple and pillars, effectively eradicating Baal worship from Israel.
Jehu orchestrated the death of Jezebel, who was thrown from a window and consumed by dogs, fulfilling Elijahโs prophecy.
Although Jehu did not completely obey God, He was still used nightly to bring down the Baal worshippers. Now the lesson we can learn from Jehuโs mistakes is that we leave no room for the enemy. Unfortunately, Jehu did not remove the idolatry in his own land. When the Lord asks you to โclean house,โ make sure that you remove all what could hinder you as you are breaking free from the cave that Jezebel tried to place you in.
But Jehu did not turn aside from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which he made Israel to sin-that is, the golden calves. Jehu did not follow God with all of his heart, and was not a true worshipper of God alone.
When you come out of your cave, and slay the idols God asks of you, make sure that you keep all the idolatry out of your โland.โ(heart)
Your obedience in keeping idolatry out of your life will allow God to use you more, and you to take more territories.
