Biography
Stephanie has a heart and a passion to see woman’s lives healed and transformed by the power and love of Jesus Christ. Using her own experiences, education, and over 25 years in the mental health/counseling field. She can offer hope, support, and guidance in overcoming life’s most difficult of challenges. Stephanie has a transformative redemption testimony. She has shared it with woman’s groups, conferences, and various other settings. Stephanie has faced numerous hardships since receiving salvation over 26 years ago. These include having a prodigal child and secondary infertility. She also became an adult child of divorce and endured several family members with addictions and/or dysfunctions.
Stephanie has worked at Gulf Oaks Psychiatric Hospital and Gulf Coast Mental Health. She has also worked at Singing River Mental Health and Fleet and Family Support. She has also worked at The Women’s Resource Center Crisis Pregnancy Center. She operated her own Christian counseling practice, Hope Counseling. She was an online Christian counselor with Gospel Guidance. Over the past several years, she has started a blog, Hope and Encouragement for Women. She has been published in several print and online magazines. She has also published two books. Stephanie started her life coaching business, Stephanie Reck, Coaching & Consultation Services in 2024.
Stephanie has also lead many women’s Bible studies, and was the leader of Celebrate Recovery at her former church. Now serves on the prayer team at her church, as well as on the serve team for Feed My Sheep.
Stephanie married her best friend, 27 years ago. They have one grown son, and a beloved “fur baby.”

Stephanie was a professional counselor with over 25 years experience before starting her life coaching business in 2024. She is a follower of Christ, Holy Spirit filled believer, and relies heavily on the Holy Spirit for all of her coaching sessions. Stephanie will listen to your story with an empathic and non-judgemental ear, while listening to the Holy Spirit for His wisdom and direction.Before Stephanie even begins any coaching work she wants to hear your story. Many “roots” can be uncovered and eventually uprooted through a guided time of actively listening to your story. Stephanie has the experience and education to incorporate in her sessions with you. She teams up with the Holy Spirit for wisdom and discernment. Don’t be surprised if she gives you words of encouragement from the Holy Spirit.
She believes in treating the whole person. This includes the spirit, the mind, and the body. They are connected and each one affects the other.
